Cross Country Results

Posted on 12 October 2012 by International School of Kuala Lumpur

We had a fantastic race this morning. The weather was perfect (not too hot). We kicked off with a new system today. All of the runners had timing chips which seemed to work really well. I was really impressed with the great atmosphere created by the athletes and coaches this morning. A special thanks to the crew that set up the race (Sundara, Letch and Dominic, Scott Muir and Pete Casey), all the officials, the marshals, coaches and don’t forget the athletes who slogged up those hills.

Please check out the Boys and Girls results here.

Please check out the photos here.

IASAS turns 30

Posted on 19 September 2011 by dharter

2011 is upon the IASAS schools and this year marks a special landmark for our organization.  This year is the 30th year of IASAS!

Over the years there have been thousands of athletes and artists, delegates and performers participate in IASAS events.  In many cases competition has highlighted the events themselves, but camaraderie and bonding have stood the test of time.  This site and our Facebook fan page have proven that the IASAS family has remained strong for the first 30 years and continues to grow stronger into our future.

SAS EagleTo commemorate the special anniversary, Singapore American School will be hosting the first season sports of Cross Country, Soccer, and Volleyball all together – just like in the old days!  From October 20th to 22nd, it will be a celebration of IASAS togetherness in the true spirit of competition and sportsmanship.

Follow all the results and action at the main page: http://iasas.sasclubs.com

Or at the individual sports pages:

Of course, you can also come back to IASAS.asia to connect to all that’s happening!

Happy 3oth, IASAS.  Looking as great as ever!

First Season Championships

Posted on 29 September 2010 by dharter

IASAS is back!

Right now Cross Country, Soccer and Volleyball athletes at our six IASAS schools are making final preparations for their championships which begin October 2nd.

October 2nd?

That’s right, this season the IASAS dates shifted to accomodate varied school schedules, so the championships begin on the Sunday and run on Monday and Tuesday.

Soccer is hosted at Jakarta International School and Volleyball and Cross Country are at International School Bangkok.

Unfortunately live streaming has been blocked in Thailand by the government as a left over from the April civil unrest. It’s going to be old school following the results of the XC and Volleyball using the website and results pages.  We will also embed the live results page, here on IASAS.asia.
