Jakarta International School hosts this year’s Cultural Convention for Art and Music.  They will be streaming the music performances so it’s worth checking their site out.

On March 3-7, International School of Manila hosts the Art and Music half of Cultural Convention 2010.

Student musicians and vocalists will travel to Manila to perform and be adjudicated.  They will also join a combined band with guest festival conductors to perform in a culminating concert.

Additionally, art from each school will be sent to Manila along with student art delegate representatives.  The artists will put together a gallery exhibition of all the work, provide feedback on the pieces, and partake in art workshops led by guest practicing artists.

For all who remember, it is a special experience and a wonderful celebration of artistic ability and musical talent.
