IASAS Softball and Badminton are a go! Starting on Friday morning, both tournaments will get into full swing at International School Bangkok. The schedule will fit 3 rounds in a day.
In Badminton, players will still maintain their regular scoring, but matches will start as soon as there is an empty court.
In Softball, games will now have 1-1 counts for every batter and no new inning will start after 1 hour of play. There will be a lot of action coming out the gym and from the field. We will try to keep you up to date with scores and results.

Due to a sudden change of situation in Bangkok, ISB has closed school for Thursday, April 8th. Because of this, ISB has made a difficult decision to postpone the IASAS tournament and cancel Day 1 of the softball and badminton championships.
All student athletes are safe in homes nowhere near the area where protests are occurring.
They have been instructed to stay at these homes until they receive further instructions and information.
At this time, tournament directors and AD’s are planning for an alternative structure that will allow for a 2 day tournament beginning on Friday. An update will be posted on the website around 10 am Bangkok time on the 8th of April.
The safety of the student athletes is the number one priority and again, all participants are safe and in contact with their coaches and administrators.
Please check back here at Iasas.asia for further information as we receive it.
